This event was organized to diversify export markets for Changwon's key industries-such as machinery, manufacturing, and future mobility-in response to changes in the U.S. trade environment, and to enhance export performance among local small and medium-sized enterprises.

This year, twelve major overseas buyers from three countries-Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam-were invited. Among the attendees were Andika Amri, Deputy Director General of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, the Chairman of the South Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and representatives of the Global Business Centers from all three countries, who visited Changwon together.

They plan to conduct customized one-on-one export consultations with around 30 local SMEs, visit company sites to observe product manufacturing and quality control processes firsthand, and proceed with practical export contracts.

On the first day, November 5, the overseas buyers visited the Good Day Museum, the largest liquor museum in Korea, and then attended the Masan Gagopa Chrysanthemum Festival, where they enjoyed colorful chrysanthemum displays and tried on hanbok, experiencing the charm of Changwon and Korean culture. The subsequent welcome dinner served as a platform for exchange and cooperation between Changwon companies and overseas buyers.

On November 6, the overseas buyers will visit local SMEs matched to them for export consultations, and on November 7, a one-on-one export consultation meeting will be held at the Changwon Convention Center to yield tangible business results.

Park Jinyeol, Director of Economic and Employment Affairs, stated, "I hope this export consultation meeting will provide substantial benefits to Changwon's business community," adding, "We will continue to promote a variety of customized export support programs to help local export companies pioneer overseas markets."
