“Growing Together with the Community”… Korea Housing Finance Corporation Holds ‘HF Win-Win Market’ with Local Farmers and Small Business Owners

Leading the Spread of Eco-Friendly and Win-Win Culture on Small Business Owners' Day

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan, HF) held the 'HF Win-Win Market' in front of the Busan International Finance Center (BIFC) on November 5, in celebration of 'Small Business Owners' Day.' The event brought together local farmers and eco-friendly small business owners, aiming to promote regional coexistence and the spread of a sustainable consumption culture.

This event was organized in collaboration with Changemaker, with direct participation from farmers and small business owners from the Busan and Gyeongnam regions. They showcased local agricultural products such as dried sweet potatoes and sweet persimmons, as well as eco-friendly goods including upcycled and low-carbon products.

Local residents and employees of organizations located in BIFC visited the site to experience a direct marketplace with local producers. Various side events, including performances by local indie bands, were also held.

At the venue, a 'Green Consumption Practice Campaign' was conducted, providing vouchers to customers who brought their own shopping bags to reduce single-use product consumption. Through this initiative, the corporation aims to contribute to the spread of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) values and foster a culture of sustainable consumption in daily life.

Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, stated, "This Win-Win Market is not just a sales event, but a platform for mutual growth between the corporation and the local community. We will expand our cooperation with local farmers and small business owners to take the lead in revitalizing the regional economy and realizing social value."

HF plans to purchase agricultural and eco-friendly products from participating businesses and deliver them to vulnerable groups in Nam-gu, Busan.
