According to the county on the 5th, the community education program is an open learning platform in which any resident can participate for leisure and self-development. It is operated to expand lifelong learning opportunities for residents and to invigorate the local community.
Currently, a total of 11 courses are offered in the first and second halves of the year, including two technical courses in practical sewing and cotton embroidery, as well as nine hobby courses such as calligraphy and ceramic crafts. This exhibition has been organized to showcase the passion and effort that students have devoted to learning throughout the year.
The exhibition features around 100 works from students across six courses: calligraphy, traditional ink painting (Sagunjja), practical sewing, ceramic crafts, cotton embroidery, and art. Each piece blends the personal stories and creative expressions of the residents, allowing visitors to experience the region’s cultural sensibility and community spirit.
Choi Youngil, Mayor of Sunchang County, stated, "I am very proud that the achievements of this year's community education program can be shared with residents through this exhibition." He added, "I hope the community education program will become a platform for communication where residents learn and grow together, going beyond simple learning to energize the local community."
