Under the theme "Residents Create a New Yeongdeok Themselves," the project aims to establish a foundation for independent growth by utilizing both tangible and intangible local resources and private community organizations, and to promote resident-led revitalization of the local economy.

Governor Kim Gwangyeol stated, "I expect the Rural Vitality Support Center to become the center of communication among local residents and a key hub for building the foundation for the region's independent growth. We will do our utmost to broadly gather residents' opinions and strive for sustainable rural development that leverages the unique characteristics and resources of the region."
