The event was divided into two parts: Part 1 featured the signing of a business agreement between Yangju City and the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while Part 2 consisted of a joint investment environment briefing by both organizations.
The signing ceremony in Part 1 was attended by Yangju Mayor Kang Suhyun and Hoje Woo, Senior Vice President of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, among others. They engaged in in-depth discussions on strategic measures to attract foreign-invested companies through investment cooperation and partnership building between the two organizations.
Under the agreement, the two organizations pledged to closely cooperate in exchanging information on investment trends, policies, and global supply chain development; sharing investment attraction strategies; and exchanging information on global and domestic investment environments and related economic trends.
During Part 2, Mayor Kang Suhyun personally delivered a presentation, actively highlighting Yangju City's investment environment, with a focus on the Yangju Technovalley and Eunnam General Industrial Complex.
The presentation emphasized Yangju City's potential investment value, focusing on the city's continuous growth potential, the competitiveness of the Yangju Technovalley, and the convenience offered by the Eunnam General Industrial Complex.
This business agreement ceremony and investment briefing are particularly significant as they mark the first time in Yangju City's history that a foundation has been laid for attracting investment from global economic organizations and foreign companies.
A representative of the Korean-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated, "Through this first meeting, we will strive to ensure that not only our domestic member companies but also our overseas members recognize Yangju as a young and attractive city with strong investment potential."
