This exhibition, which has been held biennially since 2000, is the largest specialized shipbuilding and defense equipment exhibition in Oceania. It is a leading global business-to-government (B2G) event where cutting-edge technologies and products in the navy, defense, and shipbuilding and marine sectors are showcased.

This year’s event is being held for three days from November 4 to 6, 2025. It is expected to attract 800 companies and government and industry delegations from more than 170 countries around the world, with approximately 30,000 visitors anticipated.

Ulsan City will participate in this exhibition with six local small and medium-sized enterprises-Dae Hwa Engineering Service, Oseong Tech Ulsan Plant, Seho Marine Solutions, Adwinner, Jeil General Trading, and PG Metal-operating the 'Ulsan Pavilion' together.

The exhibited items will include shipbuilding equipment parts, protective films for ship painting, and ship technology services. The focus will be on facilitating consultations between local buyers and government officials in the shipbuilding, marine, and defense sectors.

The city will support participating companies by covering booth rental fees, installation costs, exhibition item transportation, interpretation fees, and one-way airfare for each company’s business traveler.

A city official stated, "As uncertainties in the global trade environment continue to grow, it is more important than ever for small and medium-sized enterprises to diversify their export markets. Through participation in this exhibition, we will actively support Ulsan’s shipbuilding and marine equipment companies in entering new markets such as defense and military supplies."
