Strengthening Cooperation Among Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia
Implementing Region-Specific Strategies to Foster Long-Term Brand Growth

Acushnet Company, which owns golf equipment brands Titleist and FJ (FootJoy), has appointed Choi Inyong, CEO of Acushnet Korea, as Regional President of Acushnet Asia.


On November 5, Acushnet Company stated, "We have taken note of the rapidly evolving golf market across Asia, including Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia," adding, "To pursue even more strategic and efficient growth in this market, we have appointed Choi Inyong, who has served as CEO of Acushnet Korea and as President of Titleist Apparel."

Choi Inyong graduated from the University of Missouri in the United States and attended the San Diego Golf Academy. He joined Acushnet Korea in 2006 and became CEO of Acushnet Korea in 2019. In January 2024, he took on the role of President of Titleist Apparel. Choi Inyong will concurrently serve as Regional President of Titleist and FootJoy Asia, in addition to his existing positions.


With Choi’s appointment, Acushnet Company plans to further strengthen close cooperation among key markets such as Korea, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The company also intends to implement region-specific strategies tailored for passionate golfers in Asia, thereby solidifying the foundation for long-term brand growth in the region.
