Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Seong Sangjin) will hold the "Second District Residents' Briefing Session for the Bundang Special Maintenance Planned Zone" at 3 p.m. on November 7 in the main conference room of Bundang District Office, in order to facilitate the smooth progress of the Bundang New Town maintenance project and strengthen communication with residents.
Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin is communicating with residents by attending the Bundang Special Maintenance Planned District regional residents briefing session on October 30. Provided by Seongnam City
This briefing session is aimed at residents of the Seohyeon, Sunae, Bundang, and Jeongja districts. The session will provide information on the schedule for the selection of the second special maintenance zone and explain the roles and functions of the Bundang Reconstruction Support Center, which has recently opened.
In particular, the Reconstruction Support Center, established within the General Civil Service Office at Bundang District Office, will assist citizen-led project participation, serve as a transparent communication channel, and provide administrative support for the overall maintenance project.
Mayor Seong Sangjin stated, "Through this district-based residents' briefing session, we will directly share the current status and plans for the maintenance project with residents and gather a wide range of opinions. We will do our utmost to ensure that the second phase of follow-up projects secures the designated supply of 12,000 units in the special maintenance zone."
The first district residents' briefing session (pilot district), held on October 30, concluded with high interest. The third district residents' briefing session will be held at 3 p.m. on November 10 for the Gumi and Geumgok districts, and the fourth session will take place at 4:30 p.m. on November 17 for the Yatap and Imae districts, both at the same venue.
Due to limited space at the venue, residents wishing to attend must register in advance by phone. For more details, please contact the New Town Maintenance Division of Seongnam City.
Seongnam City is continuously consulting with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to protect residents' practical rights and ensure smooth project implementation. In particular, the city is actively proposing practical measures to address concerns about the slowdown of maintenance projects caused by the recent tightening of loan regulations.
