A man in his 30s from China has become a sensation after being selected as a model for stockings and leggings, typically considered women's fashion items. He has recently emerged as a social media star, receiving collaboration requests from brands specializing in women's stockings and leggings.
According to the South China Morning Post on November 4, a 31-year-old man named Xu from Hubei Province, China, who stands 177 cm tall and weighs 60 kg, has gained popularity for his beautiful legs.
Xu is active on social media, posting videos of himself showing off his legs while wearing short skirts or women's clothing. He sometimes wears a wig. His account has about 15,000 followers and is managed jointly by Xu and his wife.
Xu said, "I never imagined I would make a living because of my legs," and added, "When I was younger, I didn't always like having long, slender legs. When people complimented my legs, I thought they were mocking me."
Some netizens have raised suspicions that he might be using filters to manipulate the length of his legs, but Xu denied this, explaining, "I've never done any special exercises. It's all thanks to genetics I inherited from my mother."
When many followers asked him about the secret to his beautiful leg line, he candidly admitted, "Honestly, I don't really know myself."
Xu's modeling career began by chance. While working as a designer at an advertising company, his boss asked him to model personally in order to cut costs. The client did not even realize that the model was a man.
After the company went bankrupt, Xu became a full-time caregiver for his child and started his social media activities. As his videos went viral, numerous clothing companies specializing in leggings, stockings, and pants began to approach him for collaboration.
Regarding his future plans, he said, "I want to focus on showcasing the clothes themselves," and added, "Since my time and energy are limited, I have no plans to do live broadcasts."
