This year’s event will bring together 1,000 participants, including running crews, families, and individuals. The event drew considerable attention and enthusiastic response, with registration closing early in September.

Participants will start at Duksung Women's University, pass through Ssangu Bridge, Suyu Bridge, Beolli Bridge, and Wolgye 2 Bridge, turn back at Byeorumal Bridge, and return to Ssangu Bridge, covering a round-trip distance of 10 kilometers. Registration and distribution of race materials will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony and warm-up at 8:30 a.m. The main race will officially start at 9:00 a.m.

Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers. The event will also feature celebratory performances and on-site activities, creating a festival atmosphere for both participants and spectators to enjoy.

On the day of the event, from 7:00 a.m. to noon, access to certain sections of the bicycle path and deck trail along the Ui Stream will be restricted. Given the large number of participants, the district has prioritized safety by deploying safety personnel and ambulances at key locations and establishing a system for swift response to emergencies.

Lee Soonhee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, stated, “I hope that this event, where people can run along the pristine waters of the Ui Stream and feel health and vitality, will become Seoul’s representative running festival. Gangbuk-gu will continue to actively support efforts to make the district a beloved urban running destination.”
