Gyeongbuk Technopark (President: Ha Inseong, hereafter GyeongbukTP) announced that it operated the "Yeongyang County Agricultural and Food Processing Joint Pavilion" at Food Week Korea 2025, promoting outstanding agricultural and food products from companies in Yeongyang County.

Food Week Korea 2025, held for four days at COEX in Seoul until November 1, is the largest food exhibition in Korea, co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and COEX.

The participation in the joint pavilion booth was carried out as part of the Local Industry Promotion Project, jointly organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Yeongyang County, and GyeongbukTP.

Five companies representing Yeongyang County participated to showcase the region’s unique agricultural and food products: ▲Yeongyangga (CEO: Jo Mi-ae, Cheongasak Matji), ▲Youth Cooperative Byeolbitgoeun (CEO: Hwang Jeongin, Yeongyang Wild Vegetable Samgyetang), ▲Naturepick Agricultural Corporation (CEO: Kim Hoo-yeong, Yeongyang Haetsal-ae Red Pepper Powder), ▲Dasan Foods Co., Ltd. (CEO: Yoon Geunmok, Yeongyang Dasan Red Pepper Powder), and ▲Biostar Co., Ltd. (CEO: Ra Jeongchan, Gorosoe Gochujang and Our Soybean Doenjang). These companies presented their products to a wide range of visitors and buyers, highlighting the quality and competitiveness of Yeongyang County’s local foods.

In addition to individual company booths, a separate "Yeongyang County Exhibition Zone" was set up within the joint pavilion to display a variety of agricultural and food products from local companies representing Yeongyang County and to screen promotional videos for the county. This effectively communicated Yeongyang County's pristine image and the value of its excellent local specialties.

On-site, in addition to product displays, various events were held, such as an OX quiz event themed around Yeongyang County, a stamp tour event where visitors participated by touring the booths within the joint pavilion, and an Instagram follow event, all of which received enthusiastic responses from visitors.

These events not only increased booth traffic but also contributed to raising brand awareness for both Yeongyang County and the participating companies.

Each participating company also achieved various results.

Highlights included Naturepick Agricultural Corporation being selected for the New Product Showcase hosted by the exhibition secretariat; Yeongyangga attracting consumers and increasing on-site sales through tasting events; and Youth Cooperative Byeolbitgoeun securing opportunities to expand sales channels and exploring future cooperation through consultations with domestic and international buyers.

Through this exhibition, companies from Yeongyang County gained a meaningful opportunity to directly learn about the marketing strategies and sales methods of companies from other regions at the nation’s largest food expo, thereby strengthening their future product development and promotional capabilities.

Furthermore, this marks the first time that companies from Yeongyang County have participated in the nation’s largest food exhibition since their establishment, serving as a new turning point that demonstrates the local companies’ spirit of challenge and growth potential.

Ha Inseong, President of GyeongbukTP, stated, "Operating the joint pavilion at this year’s Food Week Korea provided a valuable opportunity for Yeongyang County companies to communicate directly with consumers and confirm their product competitiveness." He added, "We will continue to provide multifaceted support for the growth and expansion of sales channels for local companies."
