Bithumb announced on November 3 that it will participate in Shinsegae Group's flagship shopping festival, "Korea SSG Day," and will hold a large-scale benefit event.
"Korea SSG Day" is the largest annual shopping event organized by major Shinsegae affiliates, including Emart and Shinsegae Department Store. Last year, Bithumb launched the Bitcoin giveaway event "SSG.SSUM.SSOM" in conjunction with SSG Day, and this year, the scale of customer benefits has been expanded to approximately 12 billion won.
This partnership event will be conducted in a random drawing format, giving participants the chance to win prizes. To participate, customers must obtain an entry ticket from the SSG Day event page of a Shinsegae affiliate by November 9 and register it on the Bithumb app. Bithumb members who register their entry ticket will receive Bithumb KRW worth either 5,000 won or 10,000 won at random. This is a 100% winning event, meaning every participant will receive a benefit.
First-time Bithumb members can receive additional benefits. Including a 20,000 won investment support fund, they can randomly receive Bithumb KRW ranging from a minimum of 50,000 won to a maximum of 10 million won. If they complete at least one transaction by November 30, they will also receive a mobile gift certificate worth 30,000 won, which can be used at Shinsegae affiliates.
Bithumb KRW will be distributed in bulk on November 12 through the Bithumb Random Box in the "Benefit Zone" of the Bithumb app. It can be claimed until November 18. To participate in the event, customer verification (KYC) and linking a KB Kookmin Bank account are required. Detailed information is available on the Shinsegae Group SSG Day event page.
A Bithumb representative stated, "We are once again participating in Korea's largest shopping festival, 'Korea SSG Day,' to share even greater benefits with our customers," adding, "We will continue to pursue diverse partnerships that lead the market so that virtual assets can become part of everyday benefits for our customers."
