On its first day of listing on the KOSDAQ market, Nota is showing an increase of over 240%.
The Korea Exchange KOSDAQ Market Division held a listing ceremony for Nota, a company that develops and provides AI optimization and lightweight software, at 9 a.m. on the 3rd in the PR hall of its Seoul headquarters.
As of 9:54 a.m. on November 3, Nota was trading at 31,600 won, up 22,500 won (247.25%) from its IPO price of 9,100 won.
Nota recorded a competition rate of 1,058 to 1 in the institutional investor demand forecast conducted from October 14 to 20, resulting in the IPO price being set at the top end of the desired range (7,600 to 9,100 won), at 9,100 won. In the subsequent public subscription held on October 23 and 24, the competition rate reached as high as 2,781.5 to 1. The subscription deposit amounted to approximately 9.2261 trillion won.
Nota, an artificial intelligence (AI) model optimization and lightweighting solution company, creates environments where AI operates efficiently based on its expertise in AI model optimization and lightweighting technologies. By reducing model size and computation, and optimizing for hardware, the company enhances the efficiency of AI development and operation. Nota is expanding the AI ecosystem through collaborations with global companies such as Nvidia, Samsung Electronics, Qualcomm, and Arm. The funds raised from the IPO will be used to expand high-performance server and hardware infrastructure, as well as to repay borrowings.
