Second Career Win Since August's Samdasoo Masters
Seo Gyorim Finishes Runner-Up, Yoo Hyunjo Clinches Grand Prize Early
'Jeju girl' Koh Ji-won collected a championship trophy in her hometown of Jeju.
On November 2, at Elysian Jeju (par 72, 6,816 yards) in Jeju City, Jeju Province, Koh Ji-won carded six birdies and one bogey for a five-under-par 67 in the fourth round of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour S-OIL Championship, which had a total prize fund of 1 billion won. With a final total of 17-under-par 271, Koh Ji-won finished two strokes ahead of Seo Gyolim, who shot 15-under-par 273. This marks her second career victory, coming about three months after celebrating her first tour win at the Jeju Samdasoo Masters in August. The winner's prize is 180 million won.

Koh Ji-won debuted on the KLPGA Tour in 2023. She is the younger sister of Koh Ji-woo, who has three regular tour victories. Competing this season as a 'conditional entry holder,' Koh Ji-won secured her tour card through the 2027 season with her win at the Jeju Samdasoo Masters. Even after her first victory, she consistently posted high finishes and once again enjoyed the joy of victory in her hometown of Jeju.
Koh Ji-won started the final round with a three-shot lead. She pulled ahead early by making four birdies on the front nine, extending her lead over second place to four strokes. Despite strong winds on the back nine, Koh Ji-won remained steady, making consecutive birdies on the 13th (par 4) and 14th (par 5) holes to lead Seo Gyolim by five shots. Although she made her first bogey on the 15th hole (par 4) due to a shot error and was chased by Seo Gyolim, who birdied the 16th (par 3), it did not affect the final outcome.
Koh Ji-won said, "I'm really happy and delighted to win twice in a season in my hometown. Next year, I want to do my best and enjoy every tournament, and I hope to win at least once more."
Hyunjo Yoo finished this tournament tied for 8th place (eight-under-par 280). She secured first place in the KLPGA Tour Wemade Grand Prize points standings with 681 points. Hyunjo Yoo commented, "Last year, when I won the Rookie of the Year award, it felt real, but the grand prize still doesn't quite feel real. I'm disappointed that I only won once, and I still think my golf is lacking. Along with the grand prize, I want to keep challenging myself to achieve my goal of two wins this year."

Serin Hyun, Yesung Jeon, and Eunwoo Choi tied for third place (11-under-par 277), while Dayeon Lee and Suyeon Jang tied for sixth (9-under-par 279). Invited player Jeon In-ji from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour finished tied for 14th (7-under-par 281) along with Minji Park and Dain Shin. The KLPGA Tour has one tournament left this season, the Daebo HausD Championship, scheduled for next week.
