The "2025 Korea National Chrysanthemum Exhibition" in Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do, renowned for its history and tradition, is further enhancing its artistic value and prestige, solidifying its status as Korea's leading autumn flower festival.

On November 2, Hampyeong County in Jeollanam-do announced that the "Premium Bonsai Exhibition Hall" and the "National Chrysanthemum Exhibition History Hall," set up in the Butterfly Ecology Center at the festival site in Hampyeong Expo Park, are gaining great popularity among visitors.

This exhibition has been organized to allow visitors to appreciate both the artistry of chrysanthemum bonsai and the history of the National Chrysanthemum Exhibition at a glance.

The Premium Bonsai Exhibition Hall features 49 chrysanthemum bonsai works representing Hampyeong County. Each bonsai, with its unique form, embodies the delicate vitality and natural beauty characteristic of chrysanthemums, crafted with meticulous care like individual works of art.

Next to each bonsai, poems expressing the thoughts and emotions experienced during the creation process are displayed, adding lingering impressions and emotional resonance for those who view the works.

Additionally, the exhibition hall unveiled, for the first time, new chrysanthemum varieties developed independently by the county, including "Nabinoul," "Nabiyonokhwang," "Gukhyangpungwoljo," "Gukhyangchiu," and "Cheonjiseokyang."

Inside the Bonsai Exhibition Hall, the National Chrysanthemum Exhibition History Hall displays photographs and photo books capturing key moments from the 1st to the 21st editions of the exhibition, allowing visitors to trace the festival's footsteps and observe its evolution at a glance.

Lee Sangik, Governor of Hampyeong County, stated, "The Premium Bonsai Exhibition Hall and the History Hall are representative exhibition spaces that add depth and prestige to the National Chrysanthemum Exhibition," adding, "They will provide a unique space where visitors can enjoy both the artistic beauty of chrysanthemum bonsai and the festival's history."
