Korea & Company Opens Headquarters to Public... Techno Plex 'Open House'

Korea & Company Group announced on November 2 that it opened its headquarters building, Techno Plex, to the public on November 1 as part of the "Open House Seoul" program.

"Open House Seoul" is an urban architecture festival that opens up iconic modern and contemporary buildings across Seoul and nearby areas, providing the public with opportunities to experience them firsthand. Korea & Company Group participated in the event for the second consecutive year, following last year's involvement.

Completed in 2020, Techno Plex is a project realized in collaboration with Foster + Partners, the world-renowned architectural firm founded by Norman Foster. The building serves as the group's global control tower, responsible for establishing mid- to long-term strategies and shaping its future vision.

This year’s program was led by Baek Chorong, Associate Partner at Foster + Partners, who invited 43 visitors to explain the spatial design, work environment, and corporate culture, and to guide them through the building’s architectural details.

Previously, Korea & Company Group Chairman Cho Hyunbum has emphasized the philosophy that open workspaces can transform the way people think and work, ultimately driving innovation. This means that the space in which members work influences organizational culture, creativity, and communication styles.

Techno Plex embodies Chairman Cho’s philosophy in architectural form. With "visual connectivity" as its concept, the building features open workspaces designed to foster the group’s unique "proactive culture," encouraging members to become active agents of innovation.
