Citizen Idea Contest Open for Submissions Until the 14th
On November 1, 2025, Ansan City in Gyeonggi Province announced the launch of the "2025 Citizen Idea Contest," which will be held until the 14th to incorporate citizens' innovative ideas into municipal administration.
The contest themes include: ▲A citizen-centered city that is always close by ▲A younger, advanced innovation city ▲A welfare and cultural city where everyone is happy together ▲A future-oriented educational city ▲A city with a pleasant transportation environment. The policies should align with these five major municipal goals and be differentiated from those of other local governments to promote the development of Ansan City.
Participation is open not only to Ansan residents, but also to students enrolled in schools within the city and employees working at local businesses. Interested participants can submit their entries via email or postal mail.
There will be five winners. Outstanding proposals that can be adopted as city policies will receive a certificate and a cash prize of up to 1 million won. However, if no proposals meet the award criteria after two rounds of evaluation, there may be no winners.
