Scenes of Photo-taking, Wishing for Lottery Luck, and Seeking Good Fortune
According to Yonhap News, after the "chimaek" gathering of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Samsung Chairman Lee Jaeyong, and Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Euisun, the Kanbu Chicken restaurant in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul has been continuously crowded with people.
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, is making a love shot during a chicken gathering with Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Group, and Chung Eui-sun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, at Kanbu Chicken near Samseong Station in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the evening of the 30th of last month.
Following the chimaek meeting, the Kanbu Chicken Samseong-dong branch quickly became a popular "pilgrimage" spot, drawing a steady stream of citizens and investors. Visitors of all ages, from young people to the middle-aged and older generations, flocked to the restaurant hoping to feel the "energy of the business leaders," creating an atmosphere distinctly more vibrant than usual.
According to Yonhap News, at 3 p.m. on the day after the "chimaek gathering," as soon as the doors opened, about ten customers entered the restaurant. There was even a commotion over the table where the three business leaders had sat, with people asking, "Is this the right spot?" and "I tried to reserve this table first."
One visitor said, "It's a lucky day, so I waited because I wanted to receive some good energy," and waited in line for nearly three hours to sit at the table used by the business leaders. Another customer, who came with her husband, remarked, "I wanted to feel the energy from a place where business leaders from Korea and the United States gathered together."

During lunchtime, office workers from nearby companies also visited the restaurant, taking photos of a poster signed by the three leaders with their mobile phones as proof of their visit. Some joked, "Let me get some luck here," or "Please help me win the lottery." As the crowd grew, the restaurant temporarily removed the poster for safety reasons.
The owner of Kanbu Chicken said, "I hope all our customers leave happy," adding, "About nine days prior to the gathering, we received a reservation request from Nvidia. They said three people would be coming, but reserved seven tables, which made me curious. I was only told that important guests would be visiting, and it wasn't until the evening before that I learned who they were."
During the visit, the three leaders ordered three whole chickens and cheese sticks, and reportedly paid a total of 2.7 million won, including the cost of food for nearby customers. The owner commented, "Jensen Huang led the conversation, and even after learning who the guests were, it still felt surreal." He added, "If there was anything special we prepared, it was just securing enough supplies and cleaning the restaurant."
