During the meeting, President Lee stated, "The two countries have developed very deep relations not only in the economy, such as trade and investment, but also in security and defense. I hope our close relationship will continue in the future."

He added, "In particular, we have achieved in-depth cooperation, such as the joint development of fighter jets, and I hope our relationship will continue so that we can achieve even greater results."

In response, President Prabowo mentioned the KF-21 "Boramae," a Korean fighter jet being jointly developed by the two countries. He said, "I understand that discussions are underway regarding economic feasibility, including pricing and funding plans. Various consultations are taking place not only among government officials but also among technical experts. We will continue with follow-up discussions."

President Lee remarked, "I have learned about Indonesia's 'Bandung Politics.' As shown by this, Indonesia has adhered to the fundamental principles of balance, strategic autonomy, cooperation, and pragmatism in diplomacy. This serves as a strong standard for Korea's diplomatic and security strategy as well."

'Bandung Politics' refers to the pragmatic and neutral diplomatic line that was emphasized at the Bandung Conference held in Bandung, Indonesia, in 1955.

President Lee also said, "I heard that after President Prabowo took office, he has done an excellent job running the country, and his approval rating surpassed 80% in the first year. This is remarkable, and I congratulate you."

President Prabowo responded, "All young people in Indonesia are enthusiastic about K-pop. No matter how I look at it, Korea seems poised to dominate the world with its music and dance."

Regarding economic cooperation, he said, "Since taking office, I have met with more than 20 Korean business leaders for close discussions. Korea is a very important partner, and we are very open to Korean companies participating in the Indonesian economy."

When President Lee mentioned, "President Prabowo had planned a state visit to Korea last September, but it was canceled. I hope you can visit Korea soon," President Prabowo replied, "I am sorry I could not visit in September. I will instruct the foreign minister to ensure I can visit Korea as soon as possible."
