Autocrypt shares are showing strong performance. This appears to be due to renewed attention on the company's history of collaborating on autonomous driving with both Nvidia and Hyundai Motor Group, following a meeting in Seoul the previous day between Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, and Chung Euisun, Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group.
As of 10:43 a.m. on October 31, Autocrypt shares were trading at 14,660 won, up 17.28% from the previous day.
Market expectations are rising that CEO Huang, who visited Korea the previous day and met with Chairman Chung as well as Lee Jae-yong, Chairman of Samsung Electronics, will announce additional collaboration initiatives at the CEO Summit being held in Gyeongju today.
At this event, CEO Huang is expected to unveil plans for broad cooperation with Korean companies including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor Group in areas such as semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and smart factories.
Against this backdrop, Autocrypt's ongoing collaboration with Hyundai Motor and Nvidia on autonomous driving has been highlighted as a positive factor. Since 2007, Autocrypt has been a global leader in future automotive software security, developing mobility security solutions. The company covers not only vehicle-to-everything (V2X) security for external communications but also in-vehicle security (IVS) and technical services.
