Over 100 Dining Brands and 40,000 Stores Join the Event
Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced that orders from major franchise brands participating in the "Baemin Food Festa," which has been ongoing since October 17, have increased by more than 30%.
Baemin stated on October 31 that, according to its tally of orders from over 10 major brands during the first week of the Baemin Food Festa (the fourth week of October), orders rose by 37% compared to one month earlier. Orders from participating non-franchise stores also increased by more than 5% during the same period.
The Baemin Food Festa is an event designed to provide customers with the largest benefits of the year and to boost merchant orders as the autumn and winter seasons begin in earnest. The event runs for about 10 weeks, until December 31. This large-scale discount promotion features a total of around 100 popular dining brands and approximately 40,000 participating stores.
As a result of this event, the number of customers visiting the platform increased by more than 10% in just two weeks, and merchants not participating in the event also saw expanded exposure opportunities. In addition, 27% of customers who used brand coupons also enjoyed the benefits of Baemin's "Plus Coupon" promotion.
During the first week of the event, customers received daily discount coupons of up to 8,000 won, which could be used at brands such as BHC, BBQ, Cheogatjip Yangnyeom Chicken, and Yoajeong, on a first-come, first-served basis. In the second week, popular brands such as Ddujjim, Nene Chicken, and Myungrang Hotdog are participating. The third week will also see the participation of a wide variety of dining brands, including Burger King, Jadarm Chicken, Compose Coffee, and Hongkong Banjeom 0410. Baemin plans to offer discount coupons for popular dining brands each week until the end of the year, providing customers with a differentiated discount experience across diverse menu categories such as chicken, fast food, pizza, and desserts.
A Baemin representative stated, "We have prepared this event so that customers can enjoy new dining options every week without burden, and merchants can acquire new customers and significantly increase their order volume. We will strive to ensure that Baemin Food Festa, which continues through the end of the year, becomes a consistently anticipated event."
