The program featured a variety of activities designed to showcase Gochang County's abundant agricultural resources and successful cases of returning to farming.
Participants took part in visits to exemplary farms run by returnees, experienced a traditional arts village, attended special lectures on rural resettlement, toured the Stay-Type Agricultural Startup Support Center, and received explanations of rural migration policies. Through these activities, they gained a deeper understanding of the county's environment for returning to farming and rural life, as well as valuable information needed for actual settlement.
Oh Seongdong, Director of the Gochang Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "We will continue to promote a variety of educational and support programs to ensure the stable resettlement of urban residents in rural areas."
Meanwhile, this was the second time the county operated the Farming Experience School this year, following the first session in the first half. By providing systematic education and field-based experiences to urban residents interested in returning to farming and rural life, Gochang County is strengthening its image as an ideal place for rural resettlement.
