This hackathon will feature 30 graduate students from four countries-Korea, China, Uzbekistan, and Laos-who will implement real business ideas using the commercial software of the Belgian company Odoo. The competition will also require participants to propose ways to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) based on these implementations, making it a truly global contest.

Participants will directly engage in a series of processes including industry analysis, strategy formulation, strategic fit, Odoo application mapping, and AI-driven innovation. Through these steps, they will gain hands-on experience integrating business strategies with IT systems.

The final round will begin with a congratulatory video message from Odoo's Hong Kong office. The five teams that pass the preliminary round will compete in the finals by presenting their projects via video and participating in a Q&A session.

In particular, this hackathon will make extensive use of AI technology.

Participants will deliver their presentations in their native languages-Korean, Chinese, Uzbek, and Lao-while an AI-based translation tool will provide real-time English interpretation, helping to break down barriers to multinational collaboration.

Additionally, an AI evaluation system will be used to automate the document review process according to predefined criteria, which is expected to enhance both fairness and efficiency.

Kim Namgyu, Dean of the Kookmin University Graduate School of Business IT, stated, "This hackathon is a meaningful opportunity for students to combine real business strategies with IT solutions. It will be invaluable for developing global collaboration skills and strengthening practical competencies."
