Hana Financial Group announced on the 30th that, together with Daejeon Metropolitan City, it is hosting the "Hana JOB Matching Festa with Daejeon Middle-aged and Senior Employment Fair," taking the lead in supporting reemployment for the middle-aged and senior population and creating jobs in the local community.

The "Hana JOB Matching Festa" is a tailored employment support program for the middle-aged and seniors that Hana Financial Group has been operating in major hub cities nationwide since 2024. This reemployment fair not only expands reemployment opportunities for middle-aged job seekers but also helps address the recruitment difficulties faced by local small and medium-sized enterprises.

In particular, this "Hana JOB Matching Festa with Daejeon Middle-aged and Senior Employment Fair," which is the fourth event following Incheon, Daegu, and Gwangju, marks the first time that Hana Financial Group and a local government have jointly hosted a job fair by integrating their respective events. This is significant as it establishes the "Hana JOB Matching Festa" as a regional job hub through collaboration with local governments.

This event, held at Daejeon City Hall, featured 56 companies from the Daejeon area, offering customized recruitment for a variety of positions including sales management, quality control, facility engineers, and care workers. Among the participating companies, 21 operated on-site interview booths, providing job seekers with immediate hiring opportunities. Additionally, the first 100 participants in interviews received a 10,000 won interview support stipend as part of a special event.

The venue also featured a variety of booths that received a positive response from job seekers, including a "Coaching Booth" offering resume and interview coaching, a "Digital Job Experience Center" where visitors could try out digital job roles, personal color image consulting, and free ID photo services, all designed to support middle-aged and senior individuals seeking reemployment.

Relevant local organizations such as the Daejeon Job and Economy Promotion Agency, the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Daejeon Metropolitan City Middle-aged and Senior Support Center also participated, providing tailored policy information and employment counseling to job seekers and offering on-site support.

Hana Financial Group also operated its senior-focused brand "HANA THE NEXT" booth, providing one-on-one consultations with experts on retirement planning, asset management, inheritance and gift planning, and life care consulting, thereby supporting attendees in preparing for both stable reemployment and retirement planning.

A representative from the Hana Financial Group ESG Win-Win Finance Team stated, "Through the 'Hana JOB Matching Festa,' Hana Financial Group has been providing practical reemployment opportunities for the middle-aged and seniors as they enter the next chapter of their lives. This event, which received a strong response from participants, is the first case of integrating and jointly hosting job fairs previously conducted by local governments. We will continue to work closely with local governments to take the lead in building a sustainable job ecosystem in local communities."

Meanwhile, since 2022, Hana Financial Group has been operating the "Hana Power On Second Life" program, a social value initiative aimed at addressing middle-aged and senior employment issues. The program provides one-stop support for the entire process, from strengthening job-seeking capabilities to job discovery and employment connections. As of September this year, the program has produced 5,771 online basic education participants, 2,272 offline advanced education participants, and 1,045 job placements, establishing itself as a leading example of senior-focused reemployment education and employment linkage.
