Hamyang County Launches Stay-Type Tourism with "Orle GO Hamyang On-Day" Program

A One-Night, Two-Day Travel Package
Combining "Orle GO Hamyang" Hiking and Local Tourism
for an Even More Enjoyable Experience

The "Orle GO Hamyang On-Day Program," which combines Hamyang County's signature mountain tourism content "Orle GO Hamyang" with a stay-type tourism experience, launched its first itinerary on October 18. This new tourism product is drawing attention as a way to attract urban residents to Hamyang.

"Orle GO Hamyang On-Day" is a stay-type tourism program operated by the Hamyang County Tourism Association. On the first day, participants take part in a guided "Orle GO Hamyang" mountain hike accompanied by a safety officer. On the second day, the program offers a one-night, two-day travel package that links local sightseeing with a variety of hands-on activities.

In particular, the starlight dinner featuring Hamyang black pork barbecue has become a highlight of the program, offering participants a unique experience and gaining significant popularity. The main hiking destinations are selected from among the 15 renowned mountains of "Orle GO Hamyang," including key sites such as Wabul Mountain, Daebong Mountain, and Gibaek Mountain.

The program recruits 24 participants per session, with the next six departures scheduled for October 30, November 1, November 5, November 8, November 12, and November 15. Those interested can apply through the travel brand Withple (withple.com).

Meanwhile, Hamyang County plans to continue the "Orle GO Hamyang On-Day Program" not only this year but also in 2026, aiming to further raise nationwide awareness of "Orle GO Hamyang" and promote the county's appeal to a broader audience.

County Governor Jin Byeongyeong stated, "The 'Orle GO Hamyang On-Day Program' goes beyond simple hiking, offering opportunities to experience the nature and culture of Hamyang. Through this On-Day operation, we plan to further expand 'Orle GO Hamyang,' foster sustainable stay-type tourism, and provide participants with a rich and fulfilling travel experience."
