A fatal accident involving machinery entrapment occurred at a plastic manufacturing plant in Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province.
According to the Yangsan Police Station, at around 10:10 a.m. on October 29, an employee in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, became trapped by his head in a machine while test-running an injection molding machine that had just been repaired at a plastic manufacturing plant in Yangsan.
Mr. A sustained serious injuries in the accident and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but was pronounced dead at around 1:15 p.m. the same day.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and whether there was any negligence on the part of the company.
