Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will host the '2025 Hwaseong Companion Animal Happiness Sharing Festival' on November 1 at the lawn plaza of Bongdam Sambong Neighborhood Park.
The festival, organized to promote respect for life and the spread of a mature companion animal culture by bringing together citizens and pet families, will feature a variety of programs including the Hwaseong Space Dog Pet Fashion Show, Petiquette Golden Bell, a talk concert by veterinarian Seol Chae-hyun, as well as promotional activities for the animal registration system and a stray cat campaign.
The event will also offer hands-on programs such as the Companion Animal Olympics and Dog Road Party, along with consultations on pet health and behavior correction.
Various booths will be set up at the venue, including those for pet hygiene grooming, pet CPR education, pet caricatures, making pest repellents, and learning about proper animal funeral culture.
Jung Myung-geun, Mayor of Hwaseong, stated, "We will continue to create opportunities for communication so that all citizens can experience happiness together with their companion animals."
