Busan KOSHA Launches 'Safe Workplace Project' Campaign at Construction Sites

"If You Fall, You Die"
Raising Awareness of Fall Hazards

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (headed by Jeong Jongdeuk) conducted patrol site inspections and a Safe Workplace Project campaign at construction sites in the Busan area on the 29th to reduce fatal accidents at construction sites.

Busan KOSHA Launches 'Safe Workplace Project' Campaign at Construction Sites The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency conducted patrol site inspections and a Safe Workplace Project campaign at construction sites in the Busan area on the 29th to reduce fatal accidents at construction sites.

The patrol site inspections focused on violations of the 12 key safety rules. After the inspections, a checklist was distributed on-site, and workers were guided and encouraged to conduct voluntary and regular self-inspections.


Additionally, to prevent fire accidents, a construction site fire prevention self-inspection checklist was distributed, and inspections were carried out to address fire hazards.


Furthermore, the Safe Workplace Project campaign was conducted for construction workers by reciting slogans about the five major serious accidents and the 12 key safety rules, distributing OPS, and putting up banners. In particular, the message "If you fall, you die" was emphasized to raise awareness about the dangers of fall accidents.
