Running Until the 18th of Next Month
Carrot announced on the 29th that it will conduct the "Commute Step Donation" campaign for three weeks in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor, running until the 18th of next month.
This campaign is a social contribution initiative planned in collaboration with Carrot's "Neighborhood Walking" service, following the Ministry of Employment and Labor's announcement last month of the "First Step Job Guarantee Program." Users can donate their steps through Neighborhood Walking, and if the total number of donated steps from all participants exceeds 10 million, the Ministry of Employment and Labor will deliver messages of encouragement and gifts to young people just starting their careers.

The recipients of these gifts will be selected by lottery from among those who leave their stories in the comments section of the Ministry of Employment and Labor's official YouTube campaign video, and the main character in the chosen story will receive a pair of running shoes. Anyone can leave a comment to encourage young professionals around them.
By clicking on the number displaying their step count in the Neighborhood Map tab of the Carrot app, users can access the "Support Youth Preparing for Employment" section. Step counts are automatically recorded via smartphone sensors without the need to launch a separate app, and participation is completed automatically by pressing "Donate Today’s Steps."
A Carrot representative stated, "We hope that through this collaboration, our users’ everyday steps will become a source of strong encouragement for young people entering the workforce," adding, "We will continue to pursue social contribution activities that anyone can easily participate in as part of their daily lives."
