The Department of Entrepreneurship and Management at Justinoja College, Daegu Catholic University, and the Department of Smart Management at Lifeup Convergence College, Uiduk University, signed a business agreement on October 28 to cooperate in lifelong education and academic research.

This agreement covers: joint business development such as online and offline events and collaborations linked to the Gyeongsangbuk-do Regional Innovation-centered University Support System (RISE) project; mutual cooperation to establish a lifelong vocational education system; joint development of entrepreneurship and management curricula for local residents; on-site training and employment enhancement for adult learners; and promotion and cooperation for mutual development.
Kim Yongpil, head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management at Daegu Catholic University, emphasized, "Through this agreement, it is important for both institutions to collaborate on discovering various joint vocational education projects for the region and developing practical vocational education programs for employment in the era of lifelong education."
Kim Yekyung, head of the Department of Smart Management at Uiduk University, which operates the Gyeongsangbuk-do New Growth Startup Academy, stated, "I hope that education for adult learners, which is becoming increasingly important, will grow in a more practical and sustainable direction."
