BNK Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group Expands Community Sharing Through Employee Expertise

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) announced on the 29th that the "Talent Donation Volunteer Group," launched in July, has been actively engaging in social contribution activities throughout the local community, leveraging the expertise and talents of its employees.

The Busan Bank Talent Donation Volunteer Group is a volunteer organization established to return the professional capabilities of employees to the local community. It operates five teams: Digital IT, Financial Education, Global, Plogging & Health, and Culture & Arts. Each team independently establishes annual activity plans and carries out regular volunteer programs.

The Digital IT Team, composed of IT professionals, visits local welfare centers every month to provide smartphone usage education for seniors, taking the lead in bridging the digital divide. In addition, the team plans to donate PCs to four welfare centers within this year to further enhance digital accessibility for seniors.

The Financial Education Team is conducting the "Teen MaeKyung Test" education program aimed at improving teenagers' financial literacy. In collaboration with the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, the team also provides ongoing practical financial education-covering saving, investment, and loans-to elementary and middle school students at "Eunhye's Home," "Nakdong Community Child Center," and other locations.

The Global Team is working to enhance multicultural sensitivity through cultural exchanges with teenagers of various nationalities. In July and September, the team organized visits to the National Busan Science Museum and the Busan International Performing Arts Festival. In November, they plan to continue offering Korean cultural experiences to students through programs linked to the Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival.

The Plogging & Health Team combines activities for health promotion and environmental protection. In July, the team held a plogging event at Godangbong Peak in Geumjeongsan, and in September, another event at Seongjigok Reservoir.

Kim Yongkyu, Executive Director of Busan Bank's Management Strategy Group, stated, "The Talent Donation Volunteer Group is an organization dedicated to expanding the expertise and passion of our employees into social value. We will continue to actively support a variety of social contribution activities that can provide tangible benefits to the local community."
