Samyang Group Promotes 'Specialty' with MBTI-Themed Ad... New Corporate Advertisement Surpasses 2 Million Views

Strengthening Branding as a High-Performance Materials Company
Released on YouTube Channel Featuring Actor Park Jungmin

Samyang Group has launched a new corporate advertisement under the theme "Not Your Ordinary 'T,' It's Specialty," aiming to promote its specialty (high-performance) materials business. Through a wordplay referencing the 'T-type (Thinking)' in the MBTI personality test, the company humorously and clearly conveyed its identity as a professional materials company to the public.

Samyang Group announced on the 29th that it recently released the video through its official YouTube channel. The advertisement surpassed 2 million cumulative views within just five days of its release. In the video, actor Park Jungmin appears as a 'T-type' boyfriend, logically countering his girlfriend's emotional requests based on the functional advantages of specialty materials. Park Jungmin's signature cynical acting and witty dialogue have been praised for enhancing the overall quality of the advertisement.

This advertisement was created to make Samyang Group's specialty business more accessible to the public by using the MBTI personality test as its theme. It was released through various channels, including Samyang Group's official YouTube and Instagram accounts, as well as online portals.

A representative from Samyang Holdings stated, "The advertisement uniquely tells an emotional story about how specialty materials are used in our daily lives," adding, "We plan to continue actively promoting Samyang Group's technological capabilities and business vision through various media channels."

Meanwhile, Samyang Group is also working to enhance brand awareness through digital content in addition to corporate advertisements. Last month, the company released a TV commercial depicting future lifestyles enabled by specialty materials, and collaborated with creator Mimiminu to produce an experiential video with a virtual job interview concept.
