Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 28th that it will protect its legitimate rights through legal procedures regarding the patent infringement lawsuit filed by Hanwha Semitec.

A company representative stated, "Hanmi Semiconductor is the global leader in the TC bonder market," adding, "Since we first commercialized the related equipment in the industry, we have possessed proprietary core technology and the longest track record."

The representative further explained, "The patent lawsuit is not based on facts," and added, "When Hanmi Semiconductor took legitimate legal action regarding Hanwha Semitec's infringement of its technology, Hanwha Semitec responded by filing a countersuit."
