PolarisAI Signs MOU with AnotherReal to Develop Vision AI Industrial Safety Management Platform

PolarisAI Signs MOU with AnotherReal to Develop Vision AI Industrial Safety Management Platform

PolarisAI announced on October 28 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with AnotherReal, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based industrial safety video analysis company, to collaborate in the fields of industrial safety AI rental models and edge computing.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly promote the expansion of an industrial safety AI platform that combines a cloud-based subscription rental model with edge computing infrastructure, focusing on their already commercialized vision AI-based industrial safety solutions.

PolarisAI will build an AI computation structure that enables immediate analysis and assessment of hazardous situations on-site using its edge AI device, ALPON X5. By integrating AnotherReal’s vision AI solution, Another Eye, the companies will implement an intelligent integrated safety management platform capable of cloud-based unified management and CCTV integration.

This solution can be introduced without replacing existing infrastructure by equipping AI to current CCTV, control centers, and speakers. It also allows real-time monitoring of safety management status across multiple sites through a cloud-based integrated dashboard.

This agreement is a strategic move to respond to the rapidly increasing demand for industrial safety, driven by the strengthening of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and the spread of ESG management. In particular, since the initial installation costs have made it difficult to adopt advanced safety systems, the rental model will provide a low-cost, high-efficiency AI safety infrastructure.

Through this, the popularization of AI safety management is expected to accelerate not only at high-risk industrial sites such as manufacturing, construction, and logistics, but also at workplaces with fewer than 50 employees.

Byun Jiwoong, Vice President of PolarisAI, stated, "Real-time risk detection AI technology is a core technology that can be utilized in all areas directly connected to human life, including not only industrial sites but also military bases and disaster response infrastructure. Through this partnership, we will expand into public safety sectors such as the defense industry and disaster prevention, and lead the domestic smart safety market."

Meanwhile, PolarisAI recently completed the acquisition of HandySoft and, together with its affiliate Polaris Office, is accelerating the establishment of an integrated intelligent work system that encompasses office software, groupware, and AI. The company plans to use this as a foundation to accelerate the commercialization of AI technology across the B2G (business-to-government) and B2B (business-to-business) markets.
