The opening ceremony, held on October 27, featured a variety of celebratory performances, including a poetry reading, a literary painting performance, and a harmonica solo, marking the festive beginning of the event. Local artists, cultural and arts officials, and residents attended, adding to the significance of the occasion.

This exhibition showcases approximately 60 works by 34 artists across six fields: painting, photography, design, crafts, calligraphy, and folk painting.

The works, characterized by unique techniques and themes, offer visitors a wealth of inspiration and thought-provoking experiences.

In particular, this exhibition also features works by students of the "Art & Me" art academy, which was operated in collaboration with the Seongju County Comprehensive Social Welfare Center for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

This highlights how art serves as an open platform for communication among all community members and plays an important role in promoting social integration and cultural inclusivity.

Members of the Seongju Art Association continue to present a wide range of themes and expressive methods, from the simple emotions of everyday life to experimental artistic spirits, solidifying their role as a hub for the development of local art and artistic exchange.

Lee Byeonghwan, Mayor of Seongju County, stated, "I hope this exhibition will inspire local artists to create and provide county residents with more opportunities to enjoy art up close," adding, "We will continue to provide various forms of support and make ongoing efforts to vitalize local culture and the arts."
