Under the theme "FinTech×AI: The Personalization of Finance"
The Financial Services Commission announced on October 28 that the 'Korea Fintech Week 2025' event will be held at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul, on November 26.
Korea Fintech Week, which will run for three days, will be held under the theme 'FinTech×AI: The Personalization of Finance.' The event will share trends in the future of finance as it evolves through the convergence of fintech and artificial intelligence (AI), and will provide a look into the new financial ecosystem.
The event will feature a variety of programs, including an opening ceremony, the K-Fintech 30 Awards, seminars, and side events and hands-on activities. This year’s event will be the largest ever, with 99 booths and 128 participating companies and organizations.
This year’s event will also see participation from leading global unicorn companies such as Oracle, Databricks, Aspire, and TransferMate, and national pavilions will be set up for each participating country.
The morning session will begin with an opening performance, followed by a welcoming address from Kim Eogwon, Chairman of the Financial Services Commission. Congratulatory remarks will be delivered by domestic and international speakers, including Rafael Harpaz, Israeli Ambassador to Korea (with Israel ranking third globally in fintech startups), and Sopnendu Mohanty, CEO of the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN), who is leading fintech development and international cooperation in Singapore. A speaker from Google will also discuss the growth and recent trends of the global fintech industry, as well as the advancement of fintech through AI.
In the afternoon, Vice Chairman Kwon Daeyoung of the Financial Services Commission will present the certificates at the 'K-Fintech 30' Awards. This year, 10 promising fintech companies will be selected, and the winners will receive support such as access to policy funding, opportunities for investment presentations (IR), and preferential consulting for the financial regulatory sandbox.
A fintech exhibition hall will also be created, divided into four zones: the Fintech Zone, Finance Zone, Global Zone, and Collaboration Zone. The exhibition will feature 99 booths and 128 participating companies and institutions.
During the event, seminars will be held with participation from domestic and international fintech experts and organizations. A total of 13 seminars will provide in-depth discussions on topics such as global fintech trends, AI-powered fintech models, digital assets, and fintech investment. Admission to the event is free of charge.
