Kurly Expands Dawn Delivery to Jeonju, Wanju, and Iksan... Strengthening Competitiveness in the Honam Region

First Dawn Delivery in Jeollabuk-do
Nationwide Expansion of Delivery Area Gains Momentum

Kurly announced on the 28th that starting from the 31st, it will expand its dawn delivery service area to include Jeonju, Wanju, and Iksan. This marks the first time that the dawn delivery service will be available in the Jeollabuk-do region.

Until now, customers in Jeonju, Wanju, and Iksan could only use the next-day delivery service, which delivers orders the day after purchase. With the expansion of the dawn delivery area, customers can now receive their products before 8 a.m. the next morning if they place their orders by 11 p.m. the previous night.

The service will officially launch on the 31st. Orders can be placed starting from 11 p.m. on the 30th, and deliveries will begin on the 1st of the following month.

Deliveries will be made from Kurly's Pyeongtaek logistics center, utilizing a full cold chain system. The Pyeongtaek logistics center is Kurly's largest, spanning eight floors and the size of 28 soccer fields. It features integrated temperature-controlled zones for refrigerated, frozen, low-temperature, and room-temperature products all in one location. Another strength is that it houses the largest temperature-controlled center among Kurly's logistics bases.

Kurly's nationwide transition to dawn delivery is gaining momentum. As this is a new expansion into the Honam region following last year's launches in Gwangju Metropolitan City, Yeosu, Suncheon, and Gwangyang, the company's service competitiveness is expected to strengthen further.

Previously, Kurly launched its dawn delivery service in the Seoul metropolitan area in 2015 and has since expanded to the Chungcheong region, as well as Daegu, Busan, Ulsan, and Changwon. Last year, 11 additional locations, including Gyeongju, Pohang, Gumi, and Sacheon, were converted to dawn delivery areas.

A Kurly representative stated, "With Jeonju, Wanju, and Iksan now included in the dawn delivery area, our service competitiveness in the Honam region has been enhanced," adding, "Kurly will continue to focus on identifying and reviewing promising markets for further expansion of the dawn delivery service."
