Official Certificates Issued by the Association for Hole-in-One and Albatross Achievements
Discussions Held on Improving Public Golf Course Systems and Standard Terms and Conditions
The Korea Public Golf Course Association, a non-profit organization, is moving forward with a service to issue official certificates.
This service will issue certificates in the name of the association when users achieve special records such as a hole-in-one or an albatross at member golf courses. Recently, at 360do CC in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, the association explained the official certificate issuance service and provided guidance on the procedures to more than 40 professional managers, including CEOs of public golf courses.

In addition, the association provided information on minimizing the use of chlorothalonil and iprodione pesticides on golf course turf, as promoted by the government, as well as preventive measures against hacking of golf course messaging systems and initial response procedures in the event of suspected hacking. There was also an explanation of the main points from three meetings held since August to improve the public golf course system and standard terms and conditions, followed by enthusiastic discussions among the participants.
Vice President Kim Taeyoung stated, "The official certificate issuance service being promoted by the association is expected to enhance the credibility of special records achieved by golfers and improve customer satisfaction at public golf courses," adding, "The association will continue to develop new initiatives to enhance services for member companies and customers."
