This match will be held on November 4 in Hiroshima, Japan. As proposed by Governor Kim at the Gangwon FC annual general shareholders' meeting last March, he plans to visit the site with the "Gangwon Narsha Cheering Squad" to support the team in person.

The "Gangwon Narsha Cheering Squad" consists of a provincial delegation (November 3-5) and the main cheering group (November 4-5), with a total of approximately 200 participants.

Fan recruitment was conducted through online story submissions to the club from October 10 to 17. Within just one week, 556 people applied, resulting in a competition rate of 5.56 to 1.

Each participant will cover 30% of the total expenses individually, and Governor Kim Jin-tae, as the club owner, will also participate under the same conditions and pay his own share to join the cheering.

In addition, Korean residents in Japan, staff from the Consulate General, and students from Hiroshima Prefecture who participated in exchange programs with Gangwon Province last summer will also join the cheering squad.

Currently, Gangwon FC is enhancing its status as a provincial club and continues to grow steadily. In the 2024-2025 season, it reached Final A for the second consecutive year for the first time since its founding, and as a provincial and municipal club, it set a record by reaching Final A five times. In the East Asia regional qualifiers of the 2025/2026 Asian Champions League (ACLE), the club is currently in third place.

Governor Kim Jin-tae stated, "After last year's runner-up finish, our goal was to advance to the upper split, and we achieved that goal." He added, "Next week, I plan to travel to the away match in Hiroshima and cheer with the Gangwon Narsha Away Cheering Squad." He continued, "Over the past three years, we have provided 12 billion won in support to Gangwon FC, and next year, we will further increase the budget."

Gangwon FC plans to use this Asian Champions League (ACLE) away match as an opportunity to gain international match experience and strengthen the squad, while also continuing to encourage participation and passionate support from local residents and fans, leading the way in spreading regional sports culture.
