Pocheon City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Younghyeon) announced on October 27 that it has completed a nighttime landscape improvement project on the entrance road section of Pocheon Art Valley to create a nighttime tourism environment that both citizens and visitors can enjoy.

The project aims to establish Pocheon Art Valley as a tourist attraction by providing a safe and pleasant walking environment and creating a vibrant nighttime landscape.
In particular, the entrance road section now features emotional "photo zones," "colonnade lights," and "pillar signboards" to encourage visitors to stay longer and create memorable experiences. A consistent landscape design was applied from the entrance of Art Valley throughout the access road, transforming the area into a nighttime landscape street.
An official from Pocheon City stated, "This nighttime landscape improvement project goes beyond simply installing lighting; it is an urban image enhancement initiative that combines the region's cultural sensibility and aesthetic elements. It is also expected to invigorate nighttime tourism centered around Pocheon Art Valley and boost the local economy."
Meanwhile, starting with this project, Pocheon City plans to gradually expand "thematic lighting and landscape improvement projects" to other key areas within Art Valley, further strengthening its status as Pocheon's leading nighttime tourist destination.
