Supporting Cultural Experiences for Vulnerable Families
"This Was My First Family Trip Ever... It Felt Like a Precious Gift"
The Gyeongsangnam-do Family Center (Director: Jung Yeonhee) held the "Our Family Love Camp" at the Raphael Pension & Glamping Site in Goseong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do, from October 25 to 26, 2025.
This event was organized to enhance cultural accessibility for vulnerable families and to help restore family relationships.
Participants of the Gyeongsangnam-do Family Center's "Our Family Love Camp" are taking a commemorative photo.
The camp featured a variety of programs, including a glamping experience, family games, a barbecue party, calligraphy and video letter production themed around family, and more.
Participants strengthened their family bonds by enjoying leisure and experiences that are difficult to access in daily life. One participant shared, "This was my first family trip ever. The time spent with my children became a precious gift."
Director Jung Yeonhee stated, "Vulnerable families often find it difficult to participate in cultural and leisure activities due to the burdens of livelihood and caregiving. I hope this camp serves as an opportunity for emotional recovery and communication among family members. We will continue to support efforts to bridge cultural gaps."
This project is supported by the Kyungnam University Social Welfare Sponsorship Association and is recognized as a public-private cooperation model aimed at solving community issues and improving the quality of life for marginalized groups.
