Gwangju Urban Corporation (President Kim Seungnam) and Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jeong Myungseop) have joined hands to carry out social contribution activities aimed at mutual regional development.

Gwangju Urban Corporation announced on the 26th that the two city corporations participated in volunteer work to help farmers during the busy farming season around Pyeongchon Village in Buk-gu, Gwangju, on the 23rd.

This event, held in Gwangju, follows last year’s volunteer activity assisting apple farmers in Daegu. Around 50 executives and employees from both corporations took part in harvesting sweet persimmons and cleaning up the surrounding environment to support farms struggling with a shortage of labor during the peak farming season. After harvesting, participants enjoyed a pottery-making program, providing an opportunity for exchange and communication.

President Kim Seungnam stated, "This year’s Dalbit Alliance exchange is especially meaningful as it is the first event held in Gwangju since the initial agreement was signed last year. Through cooperation between leading regional public enterprises, we will create greater social value and strengthen ties and mutual growth between regions through ongoing exchanges."
