Samsung Securities Participates in 'Gimcheon Gimbap Festival'...Wishing for a Bull Market

Samsung Securities announced that it participated in the '2025 Gimcheon Gimbap Festival,' which was held in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, over two days from October 25 to 26, and carried out unique marketing activities at the event.

Samsung Securities received a positive response by giving away 2,000 sets of its 'Stock Bull Market Package,' created to wish for a global bull market, as prizes through on-site events.


The Samsung Securities booth was crowded throughout the festival as customers flocked to enjoy sauces with gimbap, the festival's main dish. Visitors actively participated in the event by comparing the flavors of different sauces with friends or family members.


The blue balloons featuring the logo of Samsung Securities' app 'MPOP' created a sea of blue at the venue, thanks to the enthusiastic response from children. Customers who enjoyed the event shared their experiences by posting reviews of the Samsung Securities Stock Bull Market Set and their participation on blogs and Instagram, spreading the fun.


The Gimbap Festival drew around 80,000 visitors on its opening day, October 25, and it is expected that the number of visitors will far exceed last year's 100,000 by the final day, October 26. The Samsung Securities booth remained busy throughout the event, filled with numerous customers eager to participate in the activities.


The 'Stock Bull Market Package' is a product developed as part of Samsung Securities' 'Stock Master' campaign. This campaign was inspired by investors' habit of shortening the names of stock markets, such as 'Gukjang' for the Korean stock market and 'Mijang' for the US stock market, and was planned with the concept of being a 'master who reads the market.'


This package cleverly uses the double meaning of 'jang'-referring both to the 'market' in stocks and 'sauce' in food-and consists of four types of spicy sauces representing different countries: Korean 'gochujang,' Japanese 'wasabi,' Chinese 'marajang,' and American 'hot sauce.' By featuring spicy sauces from each country, the campaign humorously conveys the message of wishing for a 'bull market' in stocks.


As of October 26, 2025, the three videos from the 'Stock Master' campaign, released through the Samsung Securities YouTube channel, have surpassed a cumulative 13 million views, demonstrating significant popularity.


These videos combine the traditional image of a 'master' with K-culture-inspired visuals, reinforcing Samsung Securities' image as a global expert in stock investing. In the advertisements, the 'Stock Master' character appears as a problem-solver who presents Samsung Securities' key strengths-such as real-time investment information, trustworthy experts, and opportunities to invest in stocks in over 30 countries worldwide-as if they were secret techniques, helping investors address their concerns. In addition, Lee Gayoung, Senior Researcher and Analyst for Cosmetics and Food & Beverage at Samsung Securities, participated in YouTube content featuring gimbap and spicy sauces, which also attracted attention.


A representative from Samsung Securities stated, "The 'Stock Master' campaign is a project that humorously captures the excitement of the stock market by reflecting the language and culture of investors. Through our participation in the Gimcheon Gimbap Festival, we were able to meet customers in person, and we will continue to carry out various activities so that more people can experience the Samsung Securities brand in a friendly way."
