This assembly was attended by more than 200 participants, including officials from the International Olympic Committee, current and former mayors of Olympic host cities, organizations related to Olympic legacy, and sports experts, representing 38 cities from 25 countries and 17 institutions worldwide.

In particular, the "Olympic Legacy Forum" held on the 23rd featured discussions on the theme of "Promoting and Commemorating Olympic Legacy," with case studies from the preparations for the 2020 Lausanne, 2024 Paris, and 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Additionally, under the theme of "Sustainable Legacy Through Environmental Restoration," the forum continued with discussions on the cases of the 1994 and 2016 Lillehammer, 2002 Salt Lake City, and 2012 London Olympics.

The subsequent opening ceremony of the IBSF Academy Pyeongchang Office and the "Olympic City Forest" project event presented a sustainable urban model where environment and sports coexist.

At the "Gala Dinner" held at Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang, the atmosphere of the banquet during the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics was recreated. Eighteen children born in 2018, known as the "Pyeongchang Olympic Babies," performed a choir of "Spring in My Hometown" and "I Have a Dream," followed by a Hanbok fashion show by experts, which was met with an enthusiastic response from the participants.

On the 24th, a tour of key Olympic legacy facilities in Pyeongchang was conducted, allowing participants to witness firsthand how Pyeongchang is systematically managing and developing its legacy.

Melanie Duparc, Secretary General of the Union, remarked, "Pyeongchang is one of the cities that has most successfully preserved and utilized its Olympic legacy," adding, "Pyeongchang's role as a hub for the development of winter sports in Asia was particularly impressive."

Pyeongchang County plans to build on the outcomes of this assembly by attracting international sports competitions utilizing Olympic legacy facilities and strengthening Olympic values education programs for youth, thereby continuing to achieve tangible results as a leading city in Olympic legacy projects.
