Various Hands-On Programs Available Until the 26th

The 25th Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival opened spectacularly on the 23rd at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village.
The festival kicked off with an opening parade featuring the Petit Belle performance troupe and more than 200 local children. This year's parade theme was "Mobilize! Adorable Avengers," with children dressed in retro-style costumes dancing enthusiastically as they marched.
On the 24th, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., the "EBS Avengers" event took place. On the weekend of the 25th, "Catch! Tinyping" will be performed from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and on the 26th, the "Hello Carbot Sing-Along Show" will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In addition, a variety of performances will be held on the main stage until 8:00 p.m.
During the festival period, elementary school students and younger can enter Seomjingang Train Village for free, with operating hours from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A visitor to the festival said, "The candy-shaped decorations really match the children's festival atmosphere. I also like that the entire train village is decorated as a festival venue, offering a variety of hands-on programs to enjoy."
An official from the county said, "This year, we introduced new programs such as the Children's Mission Exploration Team at the Rose Park and a global traditional games experience at the Straw Craft Workshop. We will continue to prioritize safety and do our best to ensure children can create joyful memories at the train village."
