Held Over Three Days in 75 Test Rooms at Cheonan Campus
Comprehensive Student Record Interviews Scheduled for November 1

Sangmyung University is conducting the "2026 Early Admission Practical Exam" at its Cheonan campus for three days, from October 24 to October 26, targeting a total of 3,118 applicants. In addition, on November 1, interviews are scheduled for the Comprehensive Student Record (Sangmyung Talent Track) and Early Employment Contract Department tracks.
According to Sangmyung University on October 25, this practical exam is divided into six categories: designated and free acting, speech and free acting, physical education practical skills, basic design, photography, and cartoon ability test. The exams are being held in 75 test rooms across the Cheonan campus.
In particular, to ensure the smooth operation of the basic design track, which has the largest number of applicants (1,542), the exam start time was adjusted to 11 a.m., and thorough preparations were made, including prior training for supervisors and the operation of a waiting room for parents.
President Kim Jonghee stated, "I hope every applicant can perform at their best and demonstrate the skills they have honed so far," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure a fair and stable exam process."
Sangmyung University will announce the initial successful candidates for all tracks except the Comprehensive Student Record Track on Tuesday, November 25. The results for the Comprehensive Student Record Track will be released on the admissions website on Thursday, December 11.
Meanwhile, Sangmyung University has demonstrated its educational competitiveness by securing a number of government-funded projects, including the Advanced Field Innovation Convergence University Project (approximately 13.2 billion won), the SW-Centered University Project (approximately 10.4 billion won), the University Innovation Support Project (approximately 19.9 billion won), and the University Job Plus Center Project (approximately 4.3 billion won).
Additionally, the university has received an "Excellent" rating for three consecutive years in the University Job Plus Center evaluation, and in 2024, it received the Minister of Employment and Labor Award, continuing its achievements in providing customized career and employment support.
