On Saturday, the 25th, the skies across the country will be mostly cloudy, with rain expected in some areas, including Jeju Island.


The weather will remain mild over the weekend, but starting Monday, the 27th, temperatures in some regions will drop below freezing and it will turn cold again.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, on this day, the country will be affected by a continental high-pressure system moving over the West Sea from northeastern China, bringing rain mainly to Jeju Island and the southeastern coast of North Gyeongsang Province.

During the weekend, temperatures will be similar to or slightly higher than the seasonal average, so areas without rain will experience pleasant autumn weather suitable for outdoor activities. The expected daytime high on the 25th is between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius, and on the 26th, between 16 and 22 degrees Celsius.


In the afternoon, rain is expected in the inland and northeastern mountainous regions of North Gyeongsang Province, with light rain likely in many inland areas. It is advisable to carry a small umbrella when engaging in outdoor activities.


The expected precipitation is less than 5 mm in the inland and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang Province and the southern east coast, 5 to 20 mm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo, and 5 to 20 mm in Jeju.


On Sunday, the 26th, the skies will remain mostly cloudy nationwide, but it will gradually clear up from the afternoon, especially in Gangwon Province and the Gyeongsang region.


Through the morning, there may be light rain in Jeju and the Gyeongsangnam-do region, while in the afternoon, less than 0.1 mm of light rain is expected in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheongnam-do.


From the night of the 26th, cold air will move in from the north, causing temperatures to drop significantly next week.


On Monday, the 27th, temperatures in most areas across the country, including Seoul, will fall to single digits, resulting in cold weather.


The expected low will range from minus 2 to 11 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will be between 8 and 16 degrees Celsius. In particular, the low will drop below freezing in central regions and the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, with minus 2 degrees in Paju, minus 1 degree in Cheorwon, and minus 3 degrees in Daegwallyeong.


On Tuesday, the 28th, the expected low in Seoul will fall to 1 degree Celsius, and early winter weather will continue. Attention should be paid to health management due to temperature fluctuations. The forecast low is between minus 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high will be between 10 and 17 degrees Celsius.


On Wednesday, the 29th, temperatures in the central inland and high mountainous areas of the south will drop to around 0 degrees Celsius, with frost or ice expected in some areas. Measures should be taken to protect crops.
