A Festival of Local Arts and Culture
The Calligraphy Seomuk Association at Yehon Gallery in Wando County, South Jeolla Province, successfully held the opening of the 4th Calligraphy Seomuk Members Exhibition on the second floor of the Wando Life and Culture Center on October 24. The exhibition will run until October 31.
The Seomuk Association consists of 18 regular members active at Yehon Gallery, and this exhibition features the participation of 25 artists engaged in various fields, including lifelong education.

The theme of this exhibition is "2025 Pure Wando Autumn Island Journey." Under the guidance of artist Kim Jinja from Yehon Gallery, Seomuk Association members showcased the beauty of Wando through diverse calligraphy works.
'Calligraphy' is the art of beautiful writing, and through this exhibition, the Seomuk Association is spreading the unique aesthetics of calligraphy to local residents.
Baek Namsil, president of the Seomuk Association, stated, "This exhibition is the culmination of the passion and efforts of Seomuk Association artists," expressing gratitude by saying, "It was made possible especially thanks to the guidance of artist Kim Jinja from Yehon Gallery and the support of Wando County."
The Seomuk Association is reinterpreting the traditional art of calligraphy from a modern perspective, contributing to the development of local arts and culture. Through this exhibition, the association once again demonstrated its artistic capabilities and established a new turning point for the enjoyment of local culture and the arts.
