So-Young Noh, director of Art Center Nabi, refrained from commenting on the unfavorable Supreme Court ruling in her divorce lawsuit with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, saying, "I don't think it is appropriate to speak about that right now."
On the 24th (local time), after giving a lecture on Korean art at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, Director Noh responded to reporters' questions regarding the Supreme Court decision by saying, "I don't think it is appropriate to speak about that right now."

On the 16th of this month, the Supreme Court overturned the second trial's decision, stating, "Even if the 30 billion won slush fund of former President Roh Tae-woo flowed to SK, it is considered a bribe."
Previously, the appellate court had ruled that former President Roh's slush fund was transferred to the late Chairman Chey Jong-hyun and, together with the chairman's existing assets, became the seed money for the then Sunkyung (SK) Group. Accordingly, the court viewed SK shares as subject to division of property and ordered Chairman Chey to pay Director Noh 1.3808 trillion won as part of the property division.
However, the Supreme Court overturned the appellate court's decision, meaning the amount Chairman Chey must pay Director Noh as part of the property division will be determined again by the retrial court. The Supreme Court judged that the 30 billion won slush fund of former President Roh Tae-woo, which allegedly flowed to SK, was a bribe and ruled that illegally obtained funds should not be subject to property division.
On this day at the University of Cambridge, Director Noh gave a lecture on the future direction of Korean art in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
