Nourishes Areas Prone to Wounds and Ulcers
On October 24, Chong Kun Dang launched two new products under its over-the-counter dermatology line "Dermagram": "Dermagram PDRN Cream" and "Dermagram Soft Capsules."
"Dermagram PDRN Cream" is an over-the-counter cream formulation with PDRN, a skin tissue regeneration ingredient, as its main component. It provides nourishment to areas prone to wounds and ulcers due to a lack of nutrients in the skin and connective tissue. The product uses patented Prism-Technology to apply low-molecular-weight PDRN, which standardizes particle size and enhances skin absorption. It is also formulated with dexpanthenol to help quickly restore damaged skin barriers. The cream is available in two sizes, 10g and 30g, and is free from steroids, artificial fragrances, antibiotics, and colorants, making it safe for use. The 30g product features an airless pump container to prevent air inflow, improving hygiene and user convenience.
"Dermagram Soft Capsules" are oral medications containing L-cystine, an amino acid that is a building block of protein, as the main ingredient. They are effective as adjunct therapy for acne and keratinization disorders. Clinical trials confirmed that, after two weeks of use, the capsules reduced comedones (whiteheads and blackheads), papules (red acne), and pigmentation. When used together with topical agents, they can accelerate the improvement of acne marks, and the soft capsule formulation allows for rapid absorption. The product is suitable for children aged seven and older as well as pregnant women.
"Dermagram" is Chong Kun Dang's over-the-counter brand based on its dermatological expertise. Following the launch of the spray-type "Dermagram Solution" and tube gel-type "Dermagram Gel" in April, the addition of these two new products completes the lineup with both topical and oral formulations.
